  • To hire CoLex Legal, you can call us, email us or complete the Intake Form on colexlegal.ca. Where applicable, forward your Agreement of purchase and sale along with other documents by email to intake@colexlegal.ca

  • Where applicable, the following are included in our professional fee:​

    • Review of Agreement of Purchase & Sale

    • Review of Amendments and Waivers

    • Review of insurance binder

    • Preparation of legal documentation for closing.

    • Review of lender/bank first mortgage instructions

    • Preparation of first mortgage legal documentation.

    • Arranging Title Insurance (client is responsible for the insurance premium)

    • Review of Title Search documents

  • Any service not listed above is not included in the professional fees and may be subject to additional fees.

     

    Our disbursements (if applicable) comply with LSO Rule 4.2-2.1. Disbursement may include but is not limited to HST, land transfer tax, document registration fees, statutory fees, Teranet fees, costs of condo status certificate, lawyers creditor's letters, title insurance, commissioning of applicable documents and software charges.
