How we work
The term 'title' in property ownership denotes the individual or entity with legal ownership rights and the authority to utilize the property. Ownership titles can be shared among individuals, such as co-investors, spouses, partnerships, or corporations.
In real estate transactions, the transfer of title occurs during the closing process, officially shifting ownership from the seller to the buyer. However, other situations necessitating a title transfer may arise, for example, when refinancing a property, a separation between property owners, the death of the original owner, or when a property owner seeks to include or remove a spouse or family member from the title.

Any service not listed above is not included in the professional fees and may be subject to additional fees.
Our disbursements (if applicable) comply with LSO Rule 4.2-2.1. Disbursement may include but is not limited to HST, land transfer tax, document registration fees, statutory fees, Teranet fees, costs of condo status certificate, lawyers creditor's letters, title insurance, commissioning of applicable documents and software charges.
